Chevy axle shafts in early bronco dana 44

I have read about people using 3/4 ton chevy dana 44 axle shafts in an early bronco dana 44 with little modification. Does anyone kniw how to do this? By the way new to the ranger station. Hope to get some good input and tech advice here.
