i just want to know if this would happen to be a setup that i can leave my radiator in the same spot with a mechanical fan instead of electric. ive got a 1990 ranger with a 4.0 and want to put in a 89 mark vII engine in.
any other big problems i might run in to?

It has the Mustang 'Vert motor mounts on it, but the same water pump and timing cover as the Mustang. (It's the same 5.0 HO, but using a Speed Density computer)

The rad will need to be moved, and an efan must be used. You can check my build (in sig) for similar build.

ok well ive got my engine now, it also came with a mustang computer and harness, as well as the maf sensor. ive got all the wireing ready to just drop in and hook up a few wires. my engine also came with some headers i was told they were factory headers, will they fit? i can post pics soon. ive also got an aod trans to go with it(original trans for this engine). i plan on orering the adapter for it.

The factory headers will not fit. Hedman 89500's will but most have had issues with the pasengerside header the way it dumps straight into the axle. So some have successfully used their 88400's to aleviate this problem. Shelby type tri-Y's can be made to fit (more specifically to clear the AOD bell) as well.

well thats a bummer they wont fit. i cant afford any others right now so i'll just go and grab some manifolds from the wrecking yard.

What adapter order for the AOD? I don't think you need one.

well first my aod is a 2wd so i need to convert it to 4wd, and the adapter will let me use my original transfer case as well as keep it in the same spot.

will any 1970's exhaust manifolds work? 1977 specifically?
