spare tire trouble

I do not have the key to remove the spare on my 2001 ranger XL..

is there any way of getting around this...
 
The quick answer is cut it off with bolt cutters.

But you may try calling a stealership and see if another could be available. Not sure if they are different or not, may order one off of the vin#. This is assuming it is a factory lock of course.
