My dad just bought an Airfield P-51 just like this one:

He assembled it and we charged the battery but when we plugged it all in the motor makes a wierd noise and jolts back and forth, but never spins completely around either way. I know very little about RC Planes and this is my dad's first electric plane(he had a gas plane about 10 years or more ago). The motor came completely assembled so it was nothing that he did, IMHO. We followed the directions in every way, however, the directions were pretty general. I don't know if we got a bad engine or maybe we didn't do something right, but if anyone can help it would be much appreciated. Also, if you need more info on the plane here is where he got it from:

There's supposed to be three or more wires connecting the motor to the speed controller. Check the connections, sounds like one is loose.
