Whats the best way to remove core supports?

Hey guys, I need to remove the core support off of a 1996 and a 2001 Ranger and reuse them? What is the best way to do this? They seem to be spot welded and what seems like patch welded (like a spot weld except a patch instead of a patch). Anyone done this before?
 
Spot weld cutter and a seam buster chisel.

sounds like a updated ranger look in the future ,doing the same here ,but im triing it w/o removing core support ,need to get headlight before I continue
