If you want a good affordable plasma cutter, go with everlast, I have a powerplasma 50 and it works great, I have had it for about a year now, and hasnt given me any problems...

Having great luck with my Thermal Dynamics (Cutmaster 38 Model) and so have a few others I know using the larger sizes, up to the 101. We had a Lincoln at work and while it cut well it seemed to burn through tip's at a 20-1 rate compared to the T-D.

I've got a few wheelin buddys that have a franchise selling Longevity Welding Equipment (http://www.longevity-inc.com/) at some fairly decent prices.

I also use lincoln, miller and thermal dynamics and of the three I prefer the thermal dyn. I found the lincoln was decent but miller was weak.

I really like my HyperTherm 380! if I had the money, then I'd step up to the new HyperTherm Powermax 45.

I read about hypertherms, but they're pricey iirc
