Interior lights flicker...

I've got a 93 Ranger w 4.0 & at an idle, the digital readout on my radio and my domelights noticeably flicker. I don't really notice it with my headlights or gauge lights. It drives me nuts. Is this normal or is something wrong? Any ideas?
