My credo
Confused and Intolerant
I wanted an opinion on this, I think its a good photo, but just its not just right, its all stock, its only off a 1.3MP flip-phone camera. :icon_twisted:

Its take right next to my porch

I'm not a professional photographer by any means, but if you could move closer and eliminate the part of the house and the telephone pole, I think it would look pretty sweet.

I'm far from an expert also, but since you asked for opinions...
Nice pic, but it's washed out in the center. The center left tree should have more definition. That is the great thing about manual cameras - you can shorten the exposure, change the apature etc. to get just what you want.

My opinion is that there are too many focal points.

But I agree with shane96ranger that it has the potential to be a cool shot.

Loose the power lines and the tree on the left. The building would work better if it framed the edge better.

The tree would be fine if there was more of it in the photo.. Instead of "the tree is accidentally in the photo"

Here's my idea of it a little better. Take from it what you will.

Lol or he could photochop away! Haha looks good disciplerocks

I did a rendition of it, but forgot to upload it. Here's my take on it. I didn't put as much time into it as disciplerocks. But you get the idea.

1. The only focus is directly in the center and rather far away. No foreground interest.

2. Not really sure what you were trying to take a pic of.

3. Thumb in pic. Tractor would be good for some foreground interest, but not part of a barn/tree. Also the sun is over exposed.

4. Sun is over exposed in this too, but I rather like the look of it. I would crop it a little.

5. Not bad. Loose the tree on the right. Probably would have been better to get more land/less sky unless the clouds were cool enough to set off the image. Also nothing to focus on.

Sorry if I'm too harsh, but you were looking for critiques.

all those except the 2 night ones were done with a phone, the night pics were done with Jason's $750 camera on a night mode, had to wait like 45 seconds per shot, it was like 1am, they were effect shots

A $750 camera should have manual aperture, shutter, and iso settings. Put that thing in manual and make it take a better pic. Never rely on auto settings.
