new stuff!

there's not one?? the ruff stuff has one.. or atleast mine does
new stuff!

yea there isnt a fill plug but im thinking of drill and tappin a fill and drain plug in

...how do they expect you to fill it? weird... do alot of aftermarket covers come like that? do it yourself drain and fill plug? ...

i've read before you can put your fluid in a ziplock bag and put it in there... and the gears eat up the plastic enough it doesn't hurt it and then the fluid is free... i think i saw it on trucks to.. but idk

disclaimer: if you do this- its at your own risk.. idk if this works or not!!! i'm can not be help responsible for the condition of your gears or anything if you try this...

fukc that! and i was actually just looking and on 4wheelparts it says that this cover comes with a fill plug so ima send this bithc back

ya... dry run to fluid... ugh... isnt that like putting your oil in a bag n turning key lol?

none of the 8.8 covers i've seen has it.. the d44 does...

and i agree. i wouldn't do it either... but i have read that or something. i'm not crazy... usually...

see he saw it to!

and from a diff website
"Not to get to far of subject...but in keeping with filling the diffs....if you are ever out on the trail and happen to break and axle part(whatever it is) and you have a replacement part with you...(hopefully some of you have extra parts for trail ridding that you take with you) anyways if you ever have to open your diff cover to fix anything inside.....take some Zip lock bags with you and when your done fixin' what needs fixin'.....fill the Zip lock bag with gear oil close it up lay it in your diff cover slam it back on....and when your ready to roll the gears inside will tear apart the zip lock bag and walla!!!!! your gear oil is in....wouldn't worry about the plastic bag......till you get to a spot to get it fixed...."
