found a Diesel Ranger

Hey guys, New guy here. Im looking to get a ranger, Im just starting to start my own company and need a pickup truck. My wrangler or the B2 isnt to good for haullin lumber. I would like a first or second gen and restore to factory original condition. So I found a 89' Diesel ranger for sale. But I have a few Questions. Isnt 87' the last year for diesel?

Looks like Wisconsin. I don't recall if they had a diesel in '89. Maybe try an autoparts website and see if they sell parts for an '89 diesel Ranger. Otherwise, someone could have swapped one in...

According to tech library, the diesel was no longer an option after 87.
