Explorer Rag Joints

Both my rag joints on my explorer are shot so I did a lot of searching to change over to ujoint but got no real answers on that. I know 95 and up exs have ujoints and some rangers and even aerostars do but I would like to know what year will inner change with 91-94 exs. Thanks for the help
 
Well, it looks like they switched over to U-joints at the same time that they switched to rack and pinion steering. I can see possible problems from that, but without having parts in front of me, I'm not sure.

Your best bet would be to grab a junk yard shaft out of a 95 Ranger and see if it works.
