3.0 liter flex fuel rebuild-doable?


Theres no diffrence between an straight gas and Flex fuel long block so Rebuilding one or getting a Reman wouldnt be a problem.
 
What is the actual difference between FF3.0 and normal 3.0?
 
My understanding is the difference is in the fuel injection system.
The computer senses the low performance (E85) fuel and runs it richer, I think.

the differences are mostly in the fuel system, including larger injectors, and an extra sensor (for detecting ethanol). there are also various o-rings and gaskets that were changed to be made compatible with ethanol. there is supposed to be a 3cc difference between a non-ffv combustion chamber and a ffv chamber...but the compression ratios are supposedly the same.
