Putting a 3rd gen bed on a 2nd gen.

Got a buyer lined up for my bed, but he has a 2nd gen ranger. Will my parts bed (1993) fit his 2nd gen even though it's from a 3rd gen? I know the body lines won't match up..

I'm almost 100% positive the bed will bolt right on. As you said, the lines won't match up, and it will look pretty goofy (the '93up bed is a few inches wider and will stick out past the cab).

His bed is literally a pair of bed rails, and the rear half of the bed so I think he'll be happy lol. He said something about having a pair of bedsides so I think he just wants the inner portion.
