I have a 2010 XLT with the standard grille that looks like this:

Can I put a sport grille on a 2010 XLT


I was wondering if this grille will fit and if I can get it with a color matched frame from Ford or elsewhere:

Although, I will say that having someone take pics of my truck in a photo studio retouched by a photoshop expert sure makes the stock grille look pretty. :)

of course check photos they look exactly the same. Ya personally i hate the grille like mine, mesh ones always look better.
 
So, does anyone know what the part is called or which style (sport, xlt, etc.), that those grille's are stock on?
 
You will have to have it painted to match you body color, they come just as plain black.
 
At Tousley Ford, one of the grille models comes in all the factory colors. They reference it as:
W/body colored grille w/o stx pkg.

I think that might be for the sport model. I'll have to call them to figure it out.

Saving that trip to the body shop might mean I'd actually buy it. There are many sources online for cool mesh varieties you can put behind the frame.
 
Huh....that is nifty if it comes painted.

I know that most stuff that is supposed to be body color comes in black and needs to be painted (door handles, mirror covers etc).
 
I think those are the ones listed as color "primer." These being painted is what makes them so enticing. Having a body shop do it would probably be $100 min and they might not match the color as well. Although they probably will and there are lines to break the field of color.
