I'd have to look at a newer head to be sure it is still in the same place but, on the late 80's and early 90's heads it's on the surface under the camshaft somewhere in the middle of the head. You have to pull the valve cover to see it. All '95-'01 heads are the same, if that helps you at all.
Thanks Dave! I have to replace the head gasket and have decided to put on a rebuilt head while I have it apart. To get the rebuilt head they are asking for the casting #.
