what are the biggest size pipes i can put on a 1994 3.0 y-piped without losing a lot of lowend torque or power at all

If your going to keep it a single exhaust sys 3" would be fine Im running a full 3" exhaust on my 2.9 from the y pipe back and the little 2.9 love's it .
If your planning to do some type of dual exhaust sys weather it be a ture dual exhaust sys or splitting it after the cat into duals then 3" pipe would be over kill 2.25" pipe would be beter for that type of sys.
