getting to a junkyard, much less pulling a set of manifolds sounds like an awful thing to be doing in February in Maine...
Good luck all the same, brother.

Lucky bastard. :flipoff:

J/k :)

Ebay has them for about that same price.. Definitely try a junk yard, maybe you can get them to pull them for you, but then again, it will be extra..

Ive read headers dont do Jack S*it on a 3.0, and I think I remeber reading puting headers on a Whipped 3.0 made it loose power. I'd stick w/ a set of stocker manifolds.

wrong.

the whipple guys loose power because free flowing exhaust lowers their boost.

this just proves that headers do help to open the exhaust up which will do nothing but good on a n/a truck.

your PCM will compensate for small changes like this by reading the O2's...thats what they are there for.

actually i forgot that i posted this thread till a couple minutes ago haha. i went and ordered the ones from www.rockauto.com 1: cuz theyre new and will last a lot longer than yarders, and 2: they were still the cheapest i could find. the ones i found on ebay werent for my truck (mfg date). the new ones came in last week as a matter of fact, and i ordered the bolts tonight outa mcmaster carr so next weekend into the week after (spring break from college) is gunna be when the project begins and ends hopefully without trouble (knock on wood.....really hard.....bloody knuckles....ouch). i let you guys know how it goes.

as for the guys who said pull em from a junk yard.......pff yea right haha. up here and back home in NH we're breaking the state records for the most precip haha, somthin like over 100 inches so far this winter. theres about 3 1/2-4ft of snow on/around my B2 n you cant even see the damn thing, just a giant lump of snow sticking out of more snow. i aint' treckin through a yard haha. but thanks anyways you guys:tease:
