Hay, I'm having the darndest time finding some info on my driveshaft. On my 97 2.3 2wd standard cab 6 foot bed ranger with a 1 piece shaft, IS IT ALUMINUM??? Thanks guys!

Well, the best way to answer that is go put a magnet on it. If it sticks, then no. If it doesn't then ask, is it rusty. If so, then no. If it's still shiny and metal colored, then it just might be.

Aluminum was not a common metal for drive shaft tubes in 97 though.
