I need more flexible coils for front. I have now 5.5" JD progressive coils, but they limit the uptravel...I need to MAINTAIN the height, and have more flexibility....which coils I must choose?
Thanks again,

Prolly gona need a custom coil? you need something with a low spring rate and a super long free length. What you may run into is coil bind. i've herd that someone is making linear coils with a thinner wire than the standard ranger coils and they make them in the 210-300lbin range......just a thought

sky jacker is the softest spring iv had , soft ,flexy and they hold there spring for a long time, do you have extended radius arms that will help alot to.

Look for linear-rate coils. (JBG Superflex (Deaver) coils work well)

I'd suggest having a look at both of these threads on pirate:

I chose the BC Bronco's coils. IIRC, they are around 240lb/in range and come in 1/2" increments(the winch coils are longer, not stiffer). I haven't driven the truck yet, but to me it seems like you wouldn't want to go any softer and still plan on actually road driving the truck. I'll be running a dual shock setup in the front.

I have 6.5BCBronco coils, they flex quite well and are linear rate. They measure just shy of 24" uncompressed and right around 19" with the weight of the vehicle on them.
