rear tail lights 3 bulb to 2 buld?

i remeber a little wile back a guy making his gen 3 look like the newer vertions on the gen5s...and he said something about a write up that he did so he can use the new tail lights...cant seam to find it...any one know how to do it

not sure how he did it...but if i were to do it i would just use one of those trailer wiring converters that converter your 3 bulb taillights to 2 bulb ones....just splice in and go.

I've done the trailer converer trick on a PT Cruiser. Works fine.
