Girlfriend had one for a bit...I sold it to the dealership I work at and we turned it into a drag racing car. Now I race it for them on the weekends!

got me an 89 lx/gt hybrid hatchback 5.0, had it since i graduated highschool, 7 years ago, though it doesn't move anymore... the motor will probably get pulled, and put into a second or 3rd gen ranger...

it's got everything the gt had, except the body kit, and power mirrors, weird thing is, it's got half an ac system (factory)

the hybrid deal is all factory too

I used to have 2-86 5.0's. One SSP notchback which I sold a couple years ago. Still have a 86GT.

I've got an '89 GT:

Crane 1.7 roller rockers, 65mm EGR/TB upgrade, underdrive pulley array, shorty headers/H-pipe/FlowMasters, fenderwell cold-air package.

AOD trans with B&M Hammer shifter.

5-lug conversion kit, to run American Racing Ansen Sprint Mags.

85 4eyed freak, 5.0 knocked out to a 347, World Class 5speed, drivetrain goodied up. T-top car. Med. blue metallic/silver/blue interior. Being restod' in my friends garage for rust out on the rockers/floor.

i've ALWAYS wanted to find a t-top gt, and convert the front end to aero nose, and probably the rear quarter windows to the newer style... i don't like the plastic... though the tails would have to stay, i much prefer the 4 eye tails

If I could get crap to quit breaking on everything else I want to get a 94-95 GT someday... kind of a foxbody but not commonly thrown in that pile.

86 GT was a really great year for the fox body 'stange, Jim. I built a fun running hi-output monster top speed 86 GT. It was built as a rally car and top speed monster. I kept it for a long time and sold it and still miss it!! It never had any issues, none what so ever!!!
