Need more info about the truck itself. Please fill that out in your profile so that we don't have to ask to help.

I'd guess it's something in the clutch. Bad throw out bearing maybe. Does it do it in all gears?

I had a pilot bearing (?) end of crank & front transmission shaft bearing break into pieces. One of them fell into the clutch & rattled around. When I put the clutch in, the pressure plate would bind up the piece & the rattle stopped. It's a longshot, but if all else fails....

i bought it last fall, before i bought it , it sat for 5 yrs, so i think ima replace all the clutch stuff , if i gotta do a bearing anyways..

took it for a drive today, went through all the gears, it clicks in all the gears, i put it in neutral or the clutch is in , no noise. i can feel it in the shifter. it almost sounds and feels like gears arent meshed right, if thats possible. gonna drain and refill the fluid this weekend.
