Questions, Liquid Glass, Pistons, Carbon Build up..!!!

Im in the Middle of Swapping my heads &
There is Liquid glass on the engine block that the previous owner tried using to solve the cracked heads, how do i go about cleaning this off?
The Fifth Piston is Glazed... Is my Engine shot?
And Also there is some Carbon build up on certain pistons.. remove it? or what? and how?

My fifth Piston, its Glazed, and Has Carbon Build up, and Liquid glass is on the bottom right...

looks fine. I would go buy a grinder and wire cup wheel and go to town.

Yeah, I'd run with that piston. It looks to me like it's just from antifreeze being in the combustion chamber. And honestly, I really don't have any idea what Liquid Glass is.....I thought it was to clean windows. Is it some kind of epoxy/JB Weld type thing? Will it come off with a razor blade?

EDIT: One more thing I always share. I used this stuff on my head gaskets because my friends Dad recommended it. He's built several engines, so I used his advice. It will fill in minor imperfections (can be caused by cleaning old gasket material).

How do I clean the Piston up?

Its like Bars leak liquid waste youre money on sh*t... haha

Chevron gas? LOL. I would imagine a scotch bright pad (not like the steel wool though) and some simple green would do the trick.

Okay, the Piston is kind of red though... isnt that bad? doesnt that mean it overheated and changed the Piston?

I've never seen it before, and I'm sure someone else will chime in. To me it looks like it's film from the antifreeze being in the combustion chamber.

Hopefully someone does... Do I have to Remove the Pistons from the Block to clean them?
This is the Farthest Ive ever gone into an Engine...

If you remove them, you may as well rebuild the whole motor. I wouldn't ever touch the sides of the piston, just clean the top. Also be careful as to not scratch any of the cylinder walls.

Honestly, if I were you, I'd just play ball and leave it. I didn't want to risk leaving a small piece of carbon in there that might scratch the cylinder wall, so I just threw the other heads on after cleaning the old head gasket off.
