how can i tell if my 2000 ranger 2.5 5spd has a limited slip or a open rear end without jacking it up and spinning one of the wheels?, is there a website out there that lists the specs of the 2000 era rangers?

crawl under it and look at the tag attached to one of the diff cover bolts, if its a limited slip it will have an L in the middle of the ratio number (the first few didgits of the second row) for example it would say 3L73 if it was a limited slip 3.73:1 axle

Looks like a 3.74 i guess.... i'd think 3.73 but ok, same thing probably. Also an open
