im thinking about putting on some headers on my 1998 ford ranger xlt with a 4.0......... you see.. im getting new duals coming out the back which will increase the horse about 10-15... but if i put dual headers each to one pipe the duals plus the headers will increase the horse by about 30.... but i am wondering if the mechanic has to lift the engine out a bit to install the headers......

thanx

They aren't worth the money IMO. You could get some Pacesetters for a decent price, and then hate them forever, or throw several bills at some JBAs and be happy and broke. I say cam it and leave the manifolds alone.

You want to do what now? Exhaust + truck = 30 more horse? I'm not seeing how that's gonna work.
