i have a 4 wheel drive 1998 ford ranger and im looking for a rugged off road suspension that will give about a 1 inch lift... every one i looked at is either for 2wd or WAAAYYY to expensive..... just something nice to clean up my front and back end and make it look nice. And with a little lift.... because my suspension suucckks

Just crank the torsion bars up to level it out with the back suspension and get an alignment done.
 
Yeah, cranking your torsion bars is the best way to get just 1" up front... Just keep in mind you are not adding any downtravel to your suspension with that, you are just changing how far the suspension compresses at stock ride height.

Were you looking to lift the back end at all, or just the front a bit?
 
i want all new suspension all around front and back but i want a even inch all around front and back
 
How much do you want to spend? "New" suspension all around is gonna be more than your truck is worth...
 
Yea, All you really want is new shocks. Maybe some explorer leafs in the back if you wanna stiffen things up some.

There is no affordable way to replace a bunch of stuff, other than shocks, and get more height. Cranking the torsion bars will stiffen the front end some and give some lift...

just bought key them and 1" rear lift block (between spring perch ... leaf spring)

Torsion keys are worthless. Just crank the bars.
