Thinking of lifting my 91 ext cab.
I looked at the kit with extended radius arms. Anybody have that kit or one similar? What do you think of it?? Id like to got with bigger tires at least 32 or 33. I know they make a four inch lift, will that clear the tires or will I have to lift the body too? (which I really dont want to do) so maybe I should go with a 6 inch duff or skyjacker?? opinions please.....

Oh and what is the biggest size tires that will fit stock rims??

The biggest drawback to the tuff country kit is how stiff the front coils are... they are better suited to an F-350...

It's the sturdiest cheap kit. You get what you pay for. If you plan to keep the TTB for ever and wheel it hard for a long time, I would look at a different kit.

with a 4" lift all you can run is 31" tires with no triming of fenders, i have a 6" lift on my 88 and 33" tires and its perfect, if you trimed the fenders then you could run 32" with the 4 " lift. tuff county is all right, butt sky jacker and james duff is WAY BETTER its worth the extra cash. what size are your stock rims? go with the 6" lift you wont regret it.

i got the rough country 4' lift on my 1988 ext. cab with bf goodrich 33 12.50 m/t and they fit fine and im happy with the lift

I had a Tuff Country kit, and the coils were much softer than the Skyjackers that I replaced them with. If I wouldn't have sold the Tuff Country coils already, I would have changed back in a heartbeat. There was really no comparison between the two.

x2 on it being the most reliable "budget" kit. The only bracket I ever had problems with was the pivot bracket for the passenger side beam. It started cracking from one of the bolt holes. I reinforced it with some 1/4" plate.
