Finally started up my ranger the other day (new engine) and i guess the power steering pump decided to quit on me. Must have sat to long or something. Anyways, is their any other way to remove and install the power steering pump without those special power steering pump tools?

Its likely you will need the pulley installer and remover tool. This tool can be rented from most parts houses for free. (you pay the full cost of the tool for the deposit, and get it all back when you turn the tools back in--intact).

Harbor Fright is real good for those occasional tools if you have one close or order one if you have time.
