what happened to push bars?

all i want is a chrome push bar that is winch friendly that can mount over my existing bumper on a 1985. i really dont want an entire new bumper like james duff or TRS fab... just an oldschool push bar. any ideas where to find?

call L.M.C they have them here is the number and order there catalog,they got evey thing for rbv 1-800-lmc-truck or www.LMCtruck.com ,you can build a ranger ,B11 explorer out of this catalog . OE and after market parts. good luck...

thanks.... i never saw them in lmc catalogs. i did see one from jc whitney, but it wont mount a winch and its a jc whitney piece of crap. how about custom? any ideas on cost/where? calling all rednecks with torches!

ill send you a pic of mine tomarrow so you can look at it and go from there,ill send the mesherments to, its to dark right now. but lmc does have them, there on page 68 part# for crome is 50-5050 they are for 89 trucks but should fit.

I haven't seen a factory made grille guard that doesn't replace the stock bumper for a first gen that would have a hope of holding a winch. Not to say they are not out there, but I haven't seen anyone on here with one, or in LMC. It is a neat catalog to look through however, well worth the price just to flip thru IMO :icon_thumby:
