Just bought my Ranger for the amazing price if $150:yahoo:. The 4.0 in it now is locked up but I got another 4.0 for $350. Yesterday I got the spare engine on a engine stand ready to be built. I'm also goining to buy a rebuild kit with gaskets, piston rings, rod bearings, main bearings etc. I found a aamco reciept in the glove box that said the transmission had a total rebuild about 30,000 miles ago so I'm not going to worry about the trans that much.
PLANS:
-manual hubs
-5.5 SuperLift
-63" chevy leafs
-2 inch lift shackles
-33/12.50 BFG M/t's
-15 inch Mickey Thompson
-Custom bumpers
-extended brake lines
-re gearing
-Winch
(I'm sure I've forgot alot)
This is my first truck and its going to be my Daily Driver so I'm not going to do anything crazy to it just build it to be reliable and take a beating. Any sugestions are welcome I'm open to all sorts of ideas.

why dont you just by skyjacker bracket and springs since your not using anything in the rear. I would think you would be getting better quality brackets and save you some money.

Got alot done. While I was at school my dad decided to tear my engine apart without me(uncool). I come home and its completely stripped. I'm buying a gasket kit on ebay and then We're reasembling it. Pics to come later today.

This truck has my kind of style.

Kind of reminds me of mine.
