I hit a bit of a snag today, testing the fit of everything in the front and the steering box. But it seems that the steering box and the compressor for my 93 t-bird engine want to occupy the same spot. The other engine accessory setup ive got is the 86 cougar 302 setup, but i cant for the life of me find the ac compressor for it, or the brackets that go with it.
I know 120% that it had ac when i pulled it, and that i left it on the engine. Ive got pictures to prove it tomyself. But ive got no clue where ive put them!!!
What can i use that will work for sure? I dont know if the 86 cougar setup will or not, but it was worth looking at if i could find it.

even better... would the compressor/power steering bracket from a 93 f-150 work? It places the compressor right up top. And would that work (as in line up the pulleys) with the 93 T-bird alternator bracket?
I'm actually kindda ticked, ive had 2 or 3 brackets that would work with this setup but they have all gone missing! So now im thinking that i could pull the power steering/ compressor bracket off of my dad f-150 and replace it with the power steering bracket from the 86 cougar since his ac doesn't work and he wont get it fixed he doesn't need the compressor. But will i also need to swap alternator brackets to make everything line up?

The compressor bracket off of a 91 ish t-bird fit my 91 mustang motor in my ranger. It placed the compressor right at the top of the engine.
