I've been looking in the tech library about the vacuum hubs being only in 98-00.
So what kind of system are they using now? How does it work?
 
Live axle. If you're moving you're pushing the front axle. Put it in 4x4 and the front tires are turnin
 
It actually changed Mid-year 2000 *My truck is a 4X4 2000 and doesn't have the Vac hubs.*

They are permanently locked, no different than the front of a FWD car honestly, just now power going to the front diff when in 2wd
