Any ideas guys?

Truck is making a Whining sound

I believe there was another post about this, in which it was pointed out that the presence of a significant other in the passenger seat may be the source of the whining.

Are your belts squealing or is it something else? Kinda hard to diagnose with just the statement that it is whining and a picture of the engine.

I bet you have bad tire wear too always seems to happen after the whining noise starts, thats weird.

Thats awesome ROFLAO, I was ready to say powersteering pump. You got me fo-sure.

It is probably related to that blower on the top. I believe the fix is cheese.

Try unbelting the supercharger; see if that fixes the whining. If that doesn't fix it, just get some cheese to go with it and enjoy.

EDIT: Damn, adsm08 beat me to the cheesy cheese joke.

Someone, not to name names, will be drawing the number 11 on nearby streets shortly... At which point that person will need to deal with the tire wear problem :icon_thumby:

Sadly, It hasn't started yet (So its not whining yet, but will be, Lol).... Cranks, everything sounds good, so I'm calling it a night with everything installed, but a no-start condition..... All my grounds look good too, Dunno.... Tired and on Back pain meds.

You probably just have something stupid unplugged. You'll find it in the morning.

I'm gonna be doing that soon too. New engine, LSD rear, 11 baby.

I can't do it, tired 2.9 with 33 inch tires, locker, and 4.56 gears = a colon... : not enough power for 11s...:icon_rofl:

Yeah, my tired 2.9 with 4.0 trans won't do it against 3.45s and stock tires.

Yea, my healthy 5.0 with a blower may be able to with 4.10's and street radials :D

Not getting fuel pressure at the rail, so it looks like either my pump decided it had enough while it was sitting for 3 months, or I ****ed up something with the Chassis wiring :(, I'll work on it later, bummer.

Good luck! It's gonna be a killer when it fires up!

Found out that the fuel pump isn't priming.... so either I messed up a chassis wire some where, or the fuel pump picked a bizarre time to fail.....

Good job, looks great!
