moved to bergman/harrison arkansas from california 3 weeks ago, unfortunetly, my 88 ranger wasn't up to the challenge of driving across country, it got past the sierra mountains and it became clear it wasn't gona make it. drove it back and left it at my moms house and continued the move.
now im in Arkansas and i need a truck, need something cheap on gas. i was thinking of getting an 83-88 ranger, singlecab shortbed 2WD, 4cyl,5 speed, would this be a good choice? cant seem to find one around here, all the rangers around here are 4wd and extended cabs, not what i need. How good are the lima motors? whats the normal MPG for a carbed 2.3?
