Turn signal lights up when headlights are turned on?

Hey guys in my 97' ranger when i turn on my parking lights or headlights my left turn signal illuminates but does not blink and wont go off until i turn the lights off..my right one works fine..any ideas?

That lamp has two filaments in one bulb.

It is not uncommon for a broken filament to weld itself to the other filament.

Replace the bulb.

I noticed my harness from my trailer lights was very corroded from the salt. I removed it and it seemed to fix the problem. Ill let you know if it comes back. thanks

I got Similar problems with my wiring... Fixed with tape.
