Ultimate Adventure 2011'


This year we are starting from scratch with a brand new Ford F150 EcoBoost V6 truck as our official Ultimate Adventure vehicle. Of course the build plans are top secret, super classified, x-files type off limits at this point, and the destination of this year’s trip are even more unknown (so don’t ask), but the artist rendering should give you an idea of what we’re planning. We are excited to take this new offering from Ford to the trails to see how it runs with our band of merry 4-wheelers in this year’s Ultimate Adventure week long off road trip. There will be more info coming soon, so stay tuned, but remember if you want to go on this year’s Ultimate Adventure trip you have only until March 31’s to get your application in.

At least it doesn't have the stock graphix.

Now... to find a way to get my air shocks and my 6.0L to clear my hood so I can get some wheelin pics for this years application....

i dunno....really thinking of dropping my powerstroke in the ranger after seeing this....


i need a different truck to drive to work to do that though....psd is a bit more work then a 6.5. i would actually have to beef the frame....


i can likely pull it off in 50 hours to fit the engine though with the chassis already modded...maybe a few days beefing the frame.


time off would never happen though to do the trip....not to mention lockers and better t case.

Ali said that on the last day, but when I asked Rick later on he said to enter again like everyone else! Better be safe then sorry....
 
I like that they are using the Ecoboost V6, I can't wait to see the build on this I hope it's solid axle too.:icon_thumby:

I really hope you and shay get to go back!
 
I'm thinking an F-150 ain't gonna fit where they like to go, or at least it will end up as narrow as a Ranger at the end of the week.

or it'll end up as a jeep with a 350, t350 trans, np205 doubler and pro rock d60's f&r

They used a superduty on 44s 2yrs ago if they an get that to work they can get a F150 towork.
