I am EXTREMELY excited about my build coming together, but I also look at a pile of parts I have sitting on my work table and cringe at how much work I have ahead...

Autometer 2 gauge A-pillar Pod
AEM Wideband O2 Gauge/Sensor
Autometer Phantom boost gauge
Walbro 255LPH Fuel Pump
Coolant Bypass hoses
headlight clips
Water pump studs
Water pump gasket
Water neck gasket

I've already painted the pod to match the tan interior, and have most of the dashboard apart getting ready to run the wiring and firewall grommet for the gauges, but I still have hours and hours of work ahead of me cleaning the engine bay, fixing wiring where I was lazy last season, and prepping for the blower install.

I allways want to get in a hurry. Make up a list with details do the prep and double/triple check everything as you put it together. It seems I allways remember something I missed the day after I`m still working on the list thing myself I have trouble writing crap down as I think of it.

I've got a list of things to do to mine, too. Got the Ranger on New Year's Day, but I have no garage and it's been too cold out until recently to do anything major.

Looks pretty simple compared to what else you have done, shouldn't be too big of a deal. :icon_thumby:

With my build, each installment from Summit is like another Christmas... only I am buying my own presents... :icon_confused:

It is all fairly simple compared to what I've already managed to pull off, but its just a matter of that me finishing it, and nicer weather just can't get here soon enough...

And ditto, my last Summit shipment was Suspension last year.... that was a weekend worth of fun :icon_welder:

I've already shortened my parts list after all the work I have done to the Ranger. Last thing on the list is to, find that annoying back window rattle, its driving me nuts just hearing it. Many tries to find and fix it, still trying.

I love getting new shipments, because that means it actually got here. :P Everything takes FOREVER to get here and alot of times it creeps around in the back of my head that its not coming lol. Damn living in Canada!!

I HATE any kind of dash work tho... i dont envy you having to mess with the gauges and all the pillar stuff lol. Im sure its easy, but so is putting a new stereo in. Doesnt make it fun tho :P. I dont mind doing some exterior work and such tho. Cant wait untill i finally get the parts i need to fix my truck and make it road worthy again :D And while im at it i am getting a billete grille and clear lights since i needed the parts anyways..

i like having parts piled up too. my wheel adapters are on the way and my lift should soon be on the way. along with a bunch of other minor stuff like bumpers, brushguard, lights, etc.

List's are always a good way to go but i agree sometime its the little stuff that is the biggest pita. I cant wait till the good weather comes back, heck it was nicer in December then it is now. I got so many projects too I gotta get my Mazda back together than put it over at my moms, get rid of the parts truck for it. than i gotta strip the parts truck for my ranger, do a body swap and at the same time install a 3 in body lift, install new gas tank, warn hubs. get a welder or have a buddy help me build a front bumper, after fixing the frame horn which was bent due to accident. Oh and doing the body swap is gonna suck im replacing an 83 4x4 cab with an 84 4x2 cab
