New to the forum and glad to see you're out here.
Swapped out my K&N filter with a new one they gave me under their warranty. There was no problem with the old one other than some little cracks around the rubber. Disconnected the Mass Air Flow Sensor and the upper part of the air cleaner housing to clean the housing. I used PB blaster to get some gasket residue of the lip of the housing with the MAF sensor attached careful not to spray toward the sensor. When I put it all back together, I go to start in and... nothing, just a click.
What did I do? Is there a way to test the MAF w/o the engine running?
By the way this would be the only engine problem I have had other than an idler pulley in 180,000+ miles of ownership. Just a great engine.
