View Full Version : EGR Tube, what is it really called
Hello, I need help as to what the EGR tube is called as a part number or name when trying to purchase one? people tells me, including the dealer that it is known as a EGR tube flange, is this true? I have tried google and yahoo serach engines, but no true results, they always come up with just EGR valve and exhaust pipe as a muffler system kit. I urgently need to change my EGR and the tube pipe that is connected to it, as my truck is my only transportation and I do not want to get a new one as I am truely very attach to my ranger (96 XL 2.3) which is my very first turck. does anyone know any online site where I could find one. Thanks:D

"EGR Valve to Exhaust Manifold Tube" part number F57Z9D477E , $55.11
There's also a very short male-to-male coupler which is what connects the tube to the exhaust manifold, part number E5TZ9J470A, $23.36 - I would think you could re-use this if it's not cracked
If you need the EGR gasket its part number is E6AZ9D476B, $26.61
The EGR valve itself is XF1Z9D475CB, $77.92
Thank you p38fln, for your reply to my post. the information that you have posted has been very helpful. a lot of information that is more then I needed (no complains) will help me greatly in my serch for my part. once again thank you very much.
