Shipping would be rediculous to AZ from PA....thats all 1/4" wall tubing and plate there...probably weighs in at around 45-50 lbs w/out the tire....lol

Well, you made it, Bro. That is what counts. I bought mine new for $25 on Ebay with free shipping. I welded on the mounting bracket by adding more metal to the bracket to make it stronger. I added bigger grade 8 bolts. They will never rust. If it is an accident the spare is not going anywhere!!!

Nice....I think I have about $30 total in mine...but I dont think it will EVER go anywhere lol 1/4" steel plate and 1/4" wall tubing...lol

I'm going to build a roof rack, so that's where my recovery gear is going along with my spare. Let's see if my roof will take the weight without warping o_O

nice tailgate, makes it easy to see when backing on a tight trail.. I think the handles on the carrier are a little excessive(big) but great ideas otherwise.
