When I was doing my tire shopping last year I found these for cheap, but could find hardly any info on them online or anywhere. I do see them on alot of explorers and blazers around town though, so here it is...
When I bought these I didn't expect much, but they were cheap and made by a good brand so i got them. The first year they were on my RWD S10 it was hard to tell how good they did because the truck was so bad! But on the B2 these tires have really surprised me! They have very good traction in the snow, even hard pack. They get me everywhere but off road in 2WD. they're not that great in water, it's not hard to hydroplane. On dry pavement they're good if a little noisy. For the price, they're really a great tire IMO. These make snow and moderate off roading easy.
Pros: good in snow and off road, cheap, don't seem to wear too fast.
cons: not good on water, noisy and kinda floaty on dry roads.
Here's a few pics of them after a good run in the snow! The tread looks like an early 80's BFG AT or something...
