im looking to chop the rear of my 87' off and make a new rear frame, goal is to move the rear axle closer and shorten the wheel base. Does anyone have the Frame specs from the factory service manual for an 87' ranger?
Id like to model this whole project in Solidworks to be sure it works ok and to create a cutlist for the steel. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
-Side note i am also looking for an optimal length to shorten and maybe be able to maintain some stock drive shaft, weather it be ford, chevy, jeep, etc. If the Spline counts the same and it bolts up thats all i care about. Rather not spend all the money on a custom shaft, was hoping something like a wrangler shaft may work.
Thanks
