I just started paying more attention to these green dots we have under our Rep Power scores. It doesn't seem to correspond with your rep score like I had originally thought. What exactly is it and how do you get more dots?
What are the green dots under "rep power"?

i have approximatly 3500 rep points there and the more points i got the more greend dots i got

Well, I've noticed I have 2 dots with a rep score of 6. I've seen some other people with a higher rep score and only 1 dot. I think there's more to it.
I think your bars thing is relevant to how many people have added reputation to you IE "rep score" and the rep POWER is a combination of both that and your overall post count.
Just kinda my rough estimation, I'm sure eventually somebody will chime in with the full info.
On a side note, I am exactly 1 rep point away from the next rep power level, if anybody feels like giving me some rep go right ahead

How many points do you need to make one rep power? I've always woundered that.
It seems to go up after each 100 rep points and also after a certain post count.
