i saw a you tube vid of Liberty Wa and reecer -where are these places in relation to tacoma and how hrd are the trails

Liberty is...
Between Cle Elum and Blewett Pass on Hwy 97. Probably a 3hr ride for you from Tacoma. Nice area.....at least from the pavement. I know from a friend of mine who is a hardcore Jeeper that there are some gnarly trails over there as well as some mild ones. Do a search for PNW4WDA and there should be a link to find area clubs that go over to that area. Maybe you can follow along with someone who has been there and knows what the trails are like first hand. I've dreamed of doing some wheeling there, but Im not trying to add to the dents.

i can tell you from first hand experience not to follow the jeeps on the "jeep trails" they are too much for the long wheel bases of our rangers. there are some more mild ones that are more suitable though.
