i had a question about which wiring style i should use the 94' 4.0 harness i have uses the round and rectangle plugs on the firewall and the 95' 2.3 connectors are three square plugs. i want to know if it would be possible to convert the 4.0 plugs into the squares or the other way around. if i can't then im going to have to try running the 4.0 dash wiring which looks like it would be a pain. just wondering if anyone has done the swap from the different stlyes like i am or if im the first. thanks

well i went to the junk yard today and scored on a wiring harness for the 4.0 out of a 95' so i should be in the clear. there are some differences like it has cruise control but mine does not so it wont be connected, the only other difference i can see is that there is a plug for the pressure sensor on the master cylinder, but mine does not have one, but there is one on one of my power steering lines so i might try to see if they will work the same. the only problem i might see is that the truck the wiring came off of was an automatic and i am going to be using a manual so some rewiring may be needed, and i am also going to need a new computer since someone jacked it outta the firewall.
