how to tell?

tomorrow if the weather permits, im going to a pick and pull to see if i can find a used manual bw1534 tcase. my question is, is there anyway to know if its in ok condition before buying it? do i just shift through all the ranges?

hate to buy one 2hrs from where i live, and have it not work.

shift the gears and make sure u get a warantee!!!! if it has fluid in it check that, if its dark bad red good!

thanks man, just wanted to make sure.

i mean they dont seem to go out too often so i shouldnt have any problems as long as they have any manual ones

And make sure to turn all 3 shafts In each gear including neutral! To feel for grinding and if the main gear sticks

how to tell?
