I have a freind that has a front Dana 60 axle that he wants gone and said I could have it. Ive heard there worth some money but how much?

you need to be much more specific on what d60 you have. is it a front or rear? high pinion or low pinion? gearing? width? if it is a front is it kingpin or ball joint? what spline axle shafts? etc....

Its a front, dunno about the rest I think he said its out of a late 70's Ford tho

Should be a kingpin version. A lot of guys building rigs like the kingpin axles because they don't have to deal with ball joints. I'd say it's worth a few hundred at least. Assuming it is still useable.

Unfortunately it's worth nearly $1000 in decent shape. That said, I'll give him $750 shipped to 61614....

Depends on your area and the other variables mentioned above. A crappy one won't go for much especially if the buyer knows his stuff or buys it. A high pinon with king pins in good condition will go for a grand in my area.
