Hello eveyone,
I will start out with my little introduction. I am a US Marine currently stationed in Okinawa Japan. I am a mechanic for the USMC ground vehicles, been serving for 11 yrs now. I am a motorcycle freak and love working on any thing that moves. This is the second forum I am a member of and look forward to sharing advice and tips. I will be headed back stateside very soon with my family in trace.
I currently own a 2000 Ford Ranger 4wd SuperCab. I bought it brand new in NC. I love the truck and it has taken my abuse for many years, from fishing, hunting, and offroading exploits...
I will save the problems I now face for other boards in the forum but I am seeking counsel since I am getting conflicting information from Ford dealerships and company's that remanufacture transmissions.
