My hood latch cable snapped on me fortunately after the hood popped!!! So my hood is open, that's not the problem.
I was just wondering how bad it's going to suck trying to replace the cable? I bought a universal cable replacement kit from NAPA it has instructions for all makes.... We'll see how that works.
It looks like you slip the cable thru the existing tube to the hood latch and do some sort of crimp to the cable to attach to the latch. (That's what scares me...) I can see that coming off sometime in the future.
