please help! 1 piece drive shaft conversion question.

I have a 5.5" superlift kit ready to install on my 97 super cab 2wd. ive been researching about the possibility of a minor drive shaft vibration from my stock 2 piece shaft. Now I see that TRS has a link for this, (http://www.therangerstation.com/Magazine/June04/offroad.htm)
So my question is, will i be able to swap a 1998+ super cab 1 piece drive shaft (2wd/4wd) on my 1997 2wd, are the 2wd drive shafts a different size as the 4wd? I just need some clarification.

Ps: if anyone has a lifted 97 and below super cab ranger with the stock 2 piece drive shaft, is there really that much vibration that i will need to do this? or it it manageable? Thanks for looking
 
If the carrier bearing rubber is worn it will vibrate when accelerating and at certain speeds.
If it's new it will vibrate a little until it get worse as the rubber degrades.

To me it's manageable, but sometimes it's annoying. It shakes the truck.
 
i converted mine to a one piece due to the fact the cross member was rotted and the carrier was going.. was a cheaper route. i dont see it being a problem if you get a 1 piece shaft out of a 2wheel drive ex cab truck.. should bolt right up
